When you know, you know. Unagi is a beautifully oily yet fluffy fish which is perfectly served ‘kabayaki’ style, on rice and drizzled with a sweet soy sauce and a sprinkle of ground and fresh sansho. This dish is so simple to make at home you’ll be shocked.
You each get a whole half an eel, generously topped on Japanese akitakomachi rice, a pot to share of oozy kabayaki sauce to drizzle on top, ground sansho and a fresh sansho leaf each.
Served with akitakomachi rice and miso soup.
